Creating a Customer Account:
You must be an authorized MVS customer to access our closed order-entry website at Our website uses pre-defined customer account data to determine each customer’s needs, such as billing and shipping addresses. Every authorized MVS website customer is provided an individual user account relative to your existing MVS customer account.


Changing Customer Account Information:
All account changes should be done by completing the ‘Customer Update Form’ found under the ‘Resources’ link (then choose ‘Forms’).


Customer Account Protection:
With the number of internet and email scams rising daily, we want to be sure our valued customers know that we will NEVER request any personal and private information through email. Scams designed to steal your personal information are known as phishing. We advise you to IGNORE any emails asking you for your personal information. Your best defense against phishing is to simply not respond. If you are ever in question of the legitimacy of an email from, please contact MVS at a known phone number provided to you previously or on our ‘Contact Us’ page.


MVS is committed to responsible data collection and protection of our customers; therefore, we have created the ‘Merritt Identity Protection Plan.’ Here are the steps we want you to follow if MVS is missing any necessary information (credit cards, addresses, etc.). We ask that your staff be notified of this safety plan to keep your information protected.


Merritt Identity Protection Plan:

  1. MVS will call your clinic directly to notify you that we are missing information.
  2. Tell the MVS representative that you will call them back on a known MVS contact number to provide the information.
  3. Call your CSR(s) or Territory Sales Manager on the phone number provided to you when you opened your MVS account. If you are unsure of the number, go to our ‘Contact Us’ page and call the appropriate customer service branch phone number.
  4. Please do not delay in calling us and let us know an attempt to collect data has been made. We will verify if the call was indeed from MVS or a potential scam.

Your personal information is protected by the password you created. Be sure to keep this password confidential. MVS will NEVER need to ask you for your password. Please refer to the ‘Merritt Identity Protection Plan’ as discussed above. does not currently allow customers to store credit card information or process payments of any kind., however, does use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for added security.


MVS follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, by you, but please be aware that no methods are 100% secure. Therefore, like any other website, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.


Customer Account Information Disclosure:
MVS will share your information with manufacturing partners to fulfill your order. Information sharing typically happens when products are required to ship direct from the manufacturer, as in drop-ships and special orders. MVS only shares required information, which typically includes order information and an address for billing and/or shipping. These companies do not have any independent right to share this information with outside parties.


MVS will disclose your personally identifiable information in collection attempts, as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our web site.
